Correlation coefficient matrix for antibiotic prescribing between infections within UK general practices; to determine if a practice’s prescribing rate was similar for each infectious condition, a correlation coefficient matrix was applied. A score of 1 indicates a perfect positive correlation (that antibiotic prescribing rates are the same between the two infectious conditions within a practice); a score of 0 indicates no correlation (antibiotic prescribing rates between the two infectious conditions are not correlated).
