Knee extensor absolute explosive torque–angle relationship measured at four timepoints (50, 75, 100, and 150 ms) after torque onset during explosive voluntary contractions at knee-joint angles of 35°, 50°, 65°, 80°, and 95°. One-way ANOVA showed an effect of angle for all timepoints (P < 0.001), with post-hoc differences denoted by: *lower than the other angles; §higher than 95°;  and higher than the other angles (in relation to all bracketed timepoints).
