In the of padlock probes or detection oligonucleotides, sequence in blue is the hybridization site against targeted cDNA derived from corresponding mRNA, sequence in red indicates the hybridization site for corresponding detection oligonucleotide, and sequence in black is the extra fragment to stabilize padlock probe structure.
