In controls, posterior cingulate and medial temporal structures are strong drivers of the network, the maximum being in the posterior cingulate cortex. In patients, there is a global reduction of the drivers with the maximum located in the ipsilateral medial temporal structures at group level. Right: the use of machine learning (two random forest classifiers) allowed achieving very high accuracy for the prediction of individual subjects suggesting a role of this analysis as a biomarker (71).
