Correlations between proteinuria and AGE (A) and sRAGE (B). Thirty nondiabetic stage I or II CKD patients with hypertension (18 men and 12 women, mean age 45.4 yrs) were enrolled in the present study. At baseline, proteinuria was positively correlated with circulating AGE and sRAGE levels.
