Fig. 3 — Bgh genome supercontig HF944340 encodes both a predicted natural antisense siRNA (natsiRNA) transcript as well as a member of the EKA effector gene family. The Bgh_Cluster_643 natsiRNA transcript is processed into several milRNAs candidates including Bgh_Cluster_643–6. The EKA transcript (BGHDH14_bgh06737) is encoded antiparallel to the hairpin and is transcribed and targeted for transcript cleavage by Bgh_Cluster_643–2
