VLAM regenerates skin tissue in a diabetic mouse wound model. The integrity of skin tissue post-wound closure in control, DLAM- and VLAM-treated animals was assessed histologically. Wound tissue post-closure was collected and stained with H&E (a–c) or MT (d–f). Skin structures in the control and DLAM-treated wound lack dermal-epidermal junctions (c, black arrows).
