Guide cannula secured to arm of the stereotaxic frame. We made our own holder using a small piece of plastic that we designed to screw on to the top of the guide cannula. Prior to surgery, the guide cannula (with dummy cannula inserted) is screwed into the holder and the holder is mounted onto the arm of the stereotaxic frame with a screw.
