Clinical methotrexate-associated lymphoproliferative disorders (c-MTX-LPD)162

Under MTX administration, MTX withdrawal is attempted when LPD or LPD-like manifestations occur (suspicious-LPD). However, MTX withdrawal often induces prompt regression of suspicious-LPD, making tissue biopsy impossible. After regression of suspicious-LPD, LPD occasionally recurs as relapse/regrowth event, resulting in the LPD diagnosis by tissue biopsy (proven-LPD).
