The antibacterial effect of melimine and Mel4 was significantly reduced by addition of LTA compared to peptides alone after 6 h of incubation. The LTA alone had higher effect than LTA with any peptides at 6 h. Mel4-LTA increased OD_{600 nm} more than melimine-LTA at 8 h.
