CL decreases levels of phosphorylated PDH. Phosphorylated PDH was identified by Western blot analysis with an antibody against the phosphorylated enzyme (Phos-PDH). The mitochondrial protein NDUFB6 was included as a loading control. For DCA-treated samples, 5 mm DCA was added to cultured WT cells for 24 h before mitochondrial isolation.
