Cells were treated with LCN2 protein (10 μg/ml) for 24 h, and DNA content and percentage of cells in each phase of cell cycle were determined by flow cytometric analysis. LCN2 did not significantly influence cell cycle distribution of either C6 glial cells or primary astrocytes.
