TH is progressively lost in both the ventral midbrain and striatum of cNurr1^DATCre mice. A–J, Sections were analyzed at the levels of ventral midbrain (as indicated in A and F) and in the striatum (as indicated in K and P). TH immunofluorescence was analyzed at both embryonal and postnatal stages as indicated. Results demonstrate a progressive loss of TH immunoreactivity in the ventral midbrain.
