All SHR testes had vascular changes in the arterioles with increased adventitial layer (arrowheads) (C). Each rat in hypertensive group shows different stages of testicular damage. Sixty percent of SHR testes show immature cells (asterisk) in tubular lumen (D). Hypertensive rats presented increased testicular weight when compared to normotensive rats (E).
