The antiepileptic drug carbamazepine reduces in a dose-dependent manner the rotenone-induced reduction of the field potential amplitude. A, The rotenone-mediated reduction of the field potential amplitude was significantly reduced by the antiepileptic drug CBZ (30 μm), whereas LTG (10 μm), TPM (100 μm), and VPA (300 μm) did not exert any significant neuroprotection.
