Rats were perfused immediately after the saline challenge, and slices were immunolabeled for GluR1. Data are presented as percentage (means ± SEM) of the average fluorescence intensity measured in the saline-pretreated sham-stimulation groups that were considered as baseline levels for each subregion. Significant differences are reported for p < 0.05.
