PKA and 8-Br-cAMP favor the formation of AANAT/14-3-3 complex. Proteins from dark-adapted nighttime retinas were incubated in the presence of 2 mm ATP, 15 mm MgCl2 plus 15 U of catalytic subunit of PKA (A), or 100 μm 8-Br-cAMP (B) and separated by FPLC on a Superdex 75 10/300 GL column. Representative FPLC profiles, peak square data, and statistical evaluation are shown for each treatment.
