GFP+ cell labeling was analyzed in consecutive 40 μ m sagittal brain sections in frontoparietal cortex. Approximately 15–30 sections were examined per brain, spanning the mediolateral extent of the retrovirally labeled population. Means are reported as mean ± SEM. ctx, Neocortex.
