Values are mean ± SEM. p values were calculated using the repeated-measures two-way ANOVA (matching across time), followed by the Bonferroni's post hoc test for specific comparisons. For a-wave amplitude and b-wave Vmax, raw amplitudes were used. For ratios, values were first converted to logarithms to convert the differences to ratios. The log intensity values were used to calculate the p values for k. All measurements showed a significant effect of treatment (p < 0.01, a-wave; p < 0.05, b-wave and k) overall and interaction of time and treatment (p < 0.05) but no significant effect of time.
