The photic response curve is altered in the absence of Dexras1. dexras1+/+ (♦) and dexras1−/− (■) mice were entrained to a fixed 12 h LD cycle of 400 lux. On their final LD cycle, the mice received a 15 min light pulse of 40 lux at designated ZT times (ZT 2, 5, 8, 11, 14, 17, 20, 23) and subsequently maintained in DD for at least 7 d. For ZT 2, 5, 8, and 11 experiments, lights remained off at ZT 0 on the day of the light pulse. Values are presented as mean ± SEM phase shift (in minutes).
