Image shows synthetic dataset. Cardiac motion estimation network (CarMEN) has lower or similar transformation error relative to optimization-based methods. Predicted registration field for each method is compared against ground truth by using average end-point error and they are represented with nonparametric violin plots. Violin plots are essentially mirrored density plots.
