Annexin A negative cells are expressed as percentage change in relation to control (cells that were not incubated with uSPIONs). Relative optical density is shown as a ration to control (CTRL = 1, cells that were not incubated with uSPIONs; n = 3 ± SEM). Statistical evaluation (t-test) showed no significant difference in viability among cell lines (p > 0.05) in any of the assays.
