Ephrin-A1 induces EphA2-dependent calcium influx in human aortic endothelial cells. A) HAECs transfected with siRNA directed against EphA2 were labelled with 1μM Fluo4-AM (1 μM, 45 minutes) prior to treatment with dimerized ephrin-A1-Fc. Fluo4-AM fluorescence was visualized by microscopy every 15 seconds over a duration of 15 minutes. B) A histogram showing Fluo4 fluorescence intensity (amplitude) per each cell (event) by treatment.
