Proinflammatory cytokine levels in sera of differently treated experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE). Proinflammatory cytokine levels of serum IL‐6 and IL‐17A were measured using ELISA. Serum levels of IL‐6 and IL‐17A were higher in vehicle mice with EAE than in normal mice. The levels were reduced in all rifampicin groups to different degrees. Statistical analysis was performed using one‐way anova followed by LSD post hoc test to compare replicate by time. Values are shown as mean ± SEM. Statistical significance: ###p < 0.001, compared with normal mice; ***p < 0.001, compared with vehicle‐treated mice.
