Neuronal cell toxicity of nanoparticles. (A) Neuro2a neuroblastoma cell line treated with PC-Fe3O4 NPs does not show any toxic effects up to 100 μg/mL of dose. The concentrations up to 0.5 μg/mL rather showed enhanced viability compared to control. (B) PC-CdS NPs are not found to be cytotoxic to the neuronal cell line up to 10 μg/mL. The viability is found to decrease beyond 50% at 25–100 μg/mL dosages. (The values are mean ± standard deviation of three independent experiments.)
