PI3K/Akt signaling pathway was activated in ARPE-19 cells induced by H₂O₂. (A) The protein expression of p-Akt (ser 473) and total Akt proteins in ARPE-19 cells was analyzed by Western blotting. APRE-19 cells were pre-treated with or without piceatannol for 24 h, followed by H₂O₂ treatment for 0.5 h. (B) The protein expression of p-Akt (ser 473) and total Akt proteins in ARPE-19 cells was analyzed by Western blotting. ARPE-19 cells were incubated with or without piceatannol for 24 h then induced by H₂O₂ for 0.5 and 4 h, respectively. (C) The protein expression of p-Akt (ser 473), total Akt, Bax and Bcl-2 were analyzed by Western blotting.
