It sets a number of different critical values for total points to calculate a series of sensitivity and specificity values and then the curve is plotted with sensitivity as the ordinate and “1-specificity” as the abscissa. The larger the area under the curve, the higher the diagnostic accuracy. The AUC was 0.851.
