Antimyosin antibody cross-reactive sites in M5 protein A, B, and C repeat regions of the molecule. Arrows point to sites determined to induce human cardiac myosin cross-reactive antibody (32). The asterisk (*) marks the location of peptide NT4 containing several repeats of an epitope in cardiac myosins that causes myocarditis in MRL/++ and BALB/c mouse strains (32, 116).
