Affinity measurements. The binding kinetics of TL1 were measured using the Octet Red system. Biotinylated TL1 was immobilized on the sensor and reacted for 600 s with increasing concentrations of (A) LVS (from bottom up:1 × 10⁶, 1 × 10⁷, 1 × 10⁸ and 1 × 10⁹ CFU/ml) or (B) purified LPS (from bottom up: 0.2, 1 and 5 μg/ml). The sensors were then immersed in buffer for another 600 s (marked by dashed line).
