Odds ratios (OR) represent the odds of heavy (>20 cigarettes per day) versus light (≤10 cigarettes per day) smoking for each standard deviation (SD) increase in the polygenic risk score (PRS) for smoking heaviness, corrected for year of birth, sex, 10 principle components (PCs), and family clustering in STATA. PRS were calculated for varying fractions of genetic variants (0.1%, 0.3%, 1%, 3%, 10%). R2: explained variance.
