This table summarizes clinical characteristics of all subjects included in the quantitative (T1- and T2-weighted) analyses. Patients were stratified into clinical groups of non-cardiac congenital anomalies: (1) isolated LGEA, (2) LGEA with TEF, and (3) other (included LGEA as part of VACTERL association (without cardiac involvement) and/or necrotizing enterocolitis). GA, gestational age; CA, corrected age; LGEA, long-gap esophageal atresia; TEF, tracheo-esophageal fistula; VACTERL stands for vertebral defects, anal atresia, cardiac defects, tracheo-esophageal fistula, renal anomalies, and limb abnormalities.
