βi are coefficients of a linear expression η=βo+β1 * (ΔC) relating the color distance (ΔC) between a stimulus and an achromatic target by means of the function πC)=exp(η)/(1 + exp(η)) (Hardin et al. 2007). The function πC) for the “blue” and “yellow” stimuli is presented in Figure 6.
