Fascicle-level tensile behavior. At the fascicle-level, tendon experienced a permanent change in mechanical parameters that was strain-dependent for (A) Δ transition strain, (C) Δ linear region modulus, (D) Δ inflection point strain, and (E) stress, but not for (B) Δ transition stress for Rest group. For any of the parameters, there was no difference between the slopes of No Rest and Rest groups, suggesting the 60-min rest period does not alter the fascicle-level parameters and verifies that parameters measured are non-recoverable.
