The combination of trametinib and bosutinib showed synergistic effects against xenografted tumors in nude mouse. HCC827 cells (1 × 106 cells per mouse) were implanted subcutaneously into the dorsal flank of nude mice. When the tumors reached approximately 75 mm3, the tumor-bearing mice were then treated with vehicle, trametinib (e.g., 0.4 mg/kg), bosutinib (e.g., 60 mg/kg), or their combination once daily for 14 days. After treatment, the mice were killed. (A) Body weights and (B) tumor volumes of the animals were measured every 2 days. Tumors were removed, photographed (C), and weighed (D).
