Cell proliferation was analyzed in (A) U138-wt, (B) U138-P2X7 polyclone and (C) U138-P2X7 clone cells incubated in 15% FBS-supplemented DMEM containing 4.5 g/L glucose (high glucose) for 24 h, 48 h and 72 h in the presence or absence of A740003 (10 μM). Data were analyzed by Student’s t-test. *Significantly different from DMSO (p < 0.05). (D) Cell adhesion was evaluated as described in Materials and Methods. *Significantly different from U138-wt and # U138-P2X7 polyclone (p < 0.05) by ANOVA followed by Tukey test. (E) Adhesion of U138-wt and U138-mock cells. Data were analyzed by Student’s t- test.
