HAE-ALI cultures were inoculated with wt RSV (10⁶ PFU/tissue), incubated for 1 or 5 h, fixed and subjected to immunofluorescence staining as described for Fig 3 (ATP1A1, green; RSV F, red; F-Actin, cyan; DAPI; blue). Images are shown without (A) and with (B) F-Actin staining. Images were deconvolved with Huygens Essential deconvolution software (Scientific Volume Imaging B.V, Hilversum, The Netherlands).
