Recovery of two different C. difficile spore types (unpurified [U] and purified [P]) from spiked hospital surgical gowns. Spores were derived from strains DS1748, R20291, and DS1813, and spores were recovered after being exposed to the gowns at contact times ranging from 10 s to 10 min.
