Two shock waves with the same magnitude (i.e., peak pressure), the same acoustic pulse energy, similar spectrum, approximately the same duration, yet clearly different waveforms: (a) with non-monotonic decay and a tensile phase; (b) with monotonic decay, without a tensile phase.
