In this case, the same regimen is either historical (outdated) or current for a single disease – acute myeloid leukemia (AML) – depending on the context in which it is used. One potential solution to this problem is to introduce an additional concept of the “role” that the regimen plays. An attribute of this role taking values of either “active” or “historical” might represent the temporal context of the use of the regimen in a particular context (in this case, consolidation vs. upfront) and disease.
