Relative Cell Surface Expression of GPI-APs on Granulocytes and B Cells

On granulocytes of affected individuals (P-1, P-3, P-4, and P-5) a significant relative reduction of cell surface expression of FLEAR, CD16, and CD24 was observed compared to controls. But expression of CD55 and CD59 was not significantly altered on granulocytes. An increased expression of free GPI anchors was detected based on the presence of T5 antibody on B cells in affected individuals compared to controls. Values represent mean + SD.
