Co-immunoprecipitation assays with anti-UL4 protein antibody demonstrating that the UL4 protein interacts with cellular transcription factors during EHV-1 lytic infection. HeLa cells were infected with wild-type EHV-1 (MOI=10), and cell lysates were collected at 10 h post-infection. UL4 protein specific antibody and non-specific anti-glycoprotein D (gD) antibody were conjugated to Protein-A agarose beads and were then incubated with cellular lysates from mock-infected or EHV-1-infected cells.
