B. turicatae strains were cultured in pyruvate-free mBSK in the presence or absence of 0.25 mM H₂O₂, 2.5 mM t-butyl peroxide, or 1.25 mM diethylamine NONOate (DEA/NO) for 2 h under aerobic conditions (5% CO₂, 18% O₂). Following treatment, serial dilutions were prepared in mBSK with 7 mM sodium pyruvate and plated on solid mBSK media. Data represent the mean percent survival ± standard deviation (SD) of 4 to 6 biological replicates. *p < 0.05 compared to wild-type B. turicatae.
