Antibacterial effects of GE-np. Susceptibility of planktonic form of MRSA to varying concentrations of GE-np (0.625, 1.25, 2.5 and 5 mg/ml) was determined by CFU counts. For each concentration of GE-np, equivalent concentration of garlic extract (eqGE) was taken as control. The data is represented as the mean of three independent experiments ± standard deviation. Statistically significant inhibition as compared with untreated control was denoted by p-values (*p ≤ 0.05, ****p ≤ 0.0001) calculated by one-way ANOVA.
