The images were longitudinally recorded from the same animal and represent the spatial and temporal dynamics of the TLR2 response/microglial activation over a 7 d time period. I, Quantification of the luciferase signals obtained by LivingImage 4.1 software (CaliperLS) revealed significantly higher TLR2 signals induction in the brains of the WT reporter mice (n = 8–10, *p = 0.02, **p = 0.007).
