Some LT-ICMS sites that elicited digit flexion fell into two major categories: one in which digit 1 was opposed to one or more of digits 2–5; and one in which one or more digits flexed toward the palm. Interestingly, these categories were subsets of digit movements used by capuchin monkeys in the wild (Costello and Fragazy, 1988; Spinozzi et al., 2004).
