CD4⁺ T cell specific IL-4Rα deficient (Lck^creIL-4Rα^−/lox), wild-type control (IL-4Rα^−/lox) and global IL-4Rα^−/− mice were sacrificed at days 30 and 60 post-infection. At each time-point, splenocytes were removed, stimulated with ionomycin and PMA in the presence of brefeldin A, and the percentage of IFN-γ secreting CD4⁺ (A) and CD8⁺ (B) cells were measured by flow cytometry.
