Effect of XJXBCQ on TGF-β1 and p-Smad2 phosphorylation. (A) Immunohistochemical and Western blotting assays were conducted to detect the expression levels of Smad2, p-Smad2, Smad7 and TGF-βRII in different lung tissue groups. Scale bar, 100 μm. (B–D) Western blot with an antibody to GAPDH/β-actin was used to ensure equal loading of proteins in each lane. The blots were photographed and quantified for each sample. The data shown were obtained from three independent experiments. (E) The expression levels of TGF-β1 in the serum of rats were detected by ELISA.
