Effect of XJXBCQ on PF via TGF-β1/p-Smad2 pathway in MRC-5 cells. (A–C) Western blot assay was conducted to detect the levels of Smad2, p-Smad2, α-SMA and Fn in MRC-5 cells. MRC-5 cells were treated with TGF-β1 for 48 hrs. Western blot with an antibody to β-actin was used to ensure equal loading of proteins in each lane. Blots were photographed and quantified for each sample. The data presented were obtained from three independent experiments. Each value is presented as the mean±SD of three independent experiments. ^▲P<0.05 versus the TGF-β1 group; **P<0.01, ^##P<0.01, ^▲▲P<0.01 versus the TGF-β1 group.
