For visualization, scatter plots show the overall association between mean MWF and HOMA-IR from the significant clusters. Regions where a negative association between MWF and HOMA-IR were observed localized in myelinated bilateral regions of the parieto-occipiatal projections of the corpus callosum and white matter surrounding the cuneus. Regions exhibiting a positive association between MWF and HOMA-IR localized in cortical regions, including frontal, occipital and temporal cortices.
