The areas of brain atrophy where significant negative correlation with BF-227 uptake values in inferior temporal gyrus was observed (P < 0.05, ext = 100). Similarly, the higher the β-amyloid (Aβ) deposition in the middle temporal gyrus, middle occipital gyrus, supramarginal gyrus and angular gyrus, the more extensive was the gray matter volume decrease, and the affected areas were almost identical to those described for inferior temporal gyrus. However, the relation of Aβ deposition in the supramarginal gyrus was unremarkable to the gray matter atrophy of the right precuneus in normal controls (NC) (data not shown).
